Kendall Jones is a dedicated and compassionate student counselor currently completing her counseling practicum at Tierra Nueva Counseling Center. With an empathetic commitment to supporting individuals facing emotional and psychological challenges, Kendall is focused on helping clients build resilience and achieve positive mental health outcomes.
Before pursuing a career in counseling, Kendall was a classroom teacher, where she developed strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with a deep understanding of the unique challenges students and families face.
Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Counseling from Southwestern College, Kendall has a deep passion for working with diverse populations, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. She utilizes evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Person-Centered Therapy, Existential therapy, Sand Tray, and mindfulness practices to tailor each session to the unique needs of the client.
Kendall strives to create a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Kendall is particularly passionate about serving bilingual communities and ensuring that language barriers do not impede access to quality mental health care.
